A Hunter Jumper Program that goes beyond the arena.
From grass roots horsemanship to equestrian sport, trainer Kim Klein offers a modern approach to horse management and rider education.
Horses come first.
We teach riders how to understand and meet each of their horse’s physical and emotional needs. With the help of our expert team of veterinarians, farriers, nutritionists, and saddle fitters, the horse’s health and well-being is at the forefront of our training program.
01
Training and Coaching Rooted in Psychology
Unlock your potential in a learning environment based on positivity and skill development. Along with over 15 years of experience in the equestrian industry, Kim holds a Masters Degree in Cognitive Psychology from Colorado State University.
02
Enjoy the Ride!
Above all else, we believe top results are achieved when horse and rider are enjoying their work together. We are so much more than a show team, and our program offers opportunities to learn, grow, compete, and enjoy your horse with a team that feels like family.
03
Tailored Training
At Red Fern Farm we recognize that each rider’s journey will be unique. We work with you to create a custom program that allows you and your horse to shine. We provide support through lessons, professional rides, and competition coaching as you work towards your personal equestrian goals.
Private & Semi-Private Lessons
Lessons are offered in 60-minute, private or semi-private (2-3 people) options. Lessons cover groundwork, flatwork, and jumping, with the goal of developing horsemanship in and out of the saddle. Riders are taught the classical mechanics of good riding, as well as the art of feeling, thinking, and decision making.
Training Rides
Training rides are an investment in the horse. Horses are worked in a methodical manner, developing fundamentals in a way that promotes understanding and relaxation. Whether your goals are personal or competitive, professional rides complement any partnership. Training rides are available on a flexible schedule, with no minimum requirement.
Competition
We travel to horse shows 1-2 times per month, including shows at a local and national level. Our philosophy is to use competition as a way to track and inspire growth and progress with each partnership. Participation in shows is optional, but we highly encourage everyone to give it a try!
Take the first ride.
Please inquire to start planning our first session together, whether it is with my horse or your own. I will reach out to further discuss your goals, and get a feel for whether Red Fern Farm might be the right fit for you.
